Old Dog Attempts New Trick!

My first ever blog posting!!! Up 'til now I've only posted comments on the blogs of others. We'll see if this "old dog" has learned a new trick and has figured out this "blog thingy". I've decided to make this first post "all about me"...to give you a little history of my online self.
I became a seller on etsy with my first shop, Fashion with Flair, in March of 2009. I began by offering ladies tees embellished in a variety of mediums, expanded to include children's tees, then added Christian designs. Over the course of a few months my shop sort of "morphed" into a specialty store for ladies in the Red Hat Society and I phased out my original ladies designs and childrens tees. I was having a great time designing hats, tees, purses, barrettes, and pins for a fun loving bunch of ladies, but I wanted to keep doing my line of Christian tees as well. Since the Christian designs didn't fit in a shop dubbed "Your Shop for all things Red Hat" I decided to open a new etsy shop and on Oct 21, 2009 Lavon Tees was launched.
It didn't take me long to realize that trying to run two shops was more than I cared to deal with, and feeling that God was leading me to continue with the Christian tees, I chose to close Fashion with Flair on Dec. 14, 2009. Now I am truly loving my crafting and feeling that this is what God wants me to be doing right now. I hope you will be inspired and blessed with my shirt designs, which are individually hand painted and are available on short or long sleeve tees, or on sweatshirts. 9. Welcome to blogland, Lavon !
I've been perusing your tee-shop for a little while now, and decided to take the plunge tonight.
God has given you a ministry, with a way to spread his word to people who usually wouldn't listen. I'm so glad YOU listened to his voice.
God Bless you in this endeavor.
